3rd year students visit the House of Lords

Four 3rd year occupational therapy students from the S’14 cohort (Canterbury) – Janine Knights, Abby Jones, Amy Taylor and Olayinka Lawal-Kakawa, accompanied by John Chacksfield, recently attended a talk at the House of Lords on “Healthy Ageing – what do you need to know” as part of their Innovation and Enterprise module.

The talk, a frank discussion, focused on mental health, hormonal changes and osteoporosis and, they also got to visit parts of the Houses of Parliament including the medieval Westminster Hall.
